Verizon Galaxy S23, S20 FE, Fold 2/3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 receive March 2023 update in the US
Being the largest manufacturer of smartphones, Samsung is also ahead in software updates; after releasing the One UI 5.1 update to eligible devices, the company has started the March 2023 update and rolled out the update on many devices. Due to carrier restrictions, the Korean giant has slowed down its speed of updates in the US.
Notably, the carrier-locked variant of Galaxy S20FE, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Note20, and Galaxy Z series devices are now getting the March 2023 update on the Verizon network, which means users who own the above-mentioned devices that are affiliated with the Verizon network will get the update.
The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices are getting the update with version numbers S911USQS1AWBL, S916USQS1AWBL and S918USQS1AWBL, respectively. The Galaxy S20 FE gets the update with version number G781VSQS7HWB6.
Meanwhile, the foldable screen phones are receiving an update with different firmware version numbers. Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 2 are getting the update with the numbers F926USQS3FWC1 and F916USQS2JWC1, respectively, while Galaxy Z Flip 3 is receiving the same update with version number F711USQS4FWC1.
