Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ received March 2023 update in Latin America
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 series devices back in 2020. These devices come with Android 10 pre-installed; later, the device got new Android updates and is currently running on Android 5.1 based on Android 13, which was the last major update. However, these devices have also received several mini software updates on a monthly basis in the form of a security patch and are still eligible for security-related updates.
March 2023 update for Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+
Notably, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ are receiving the new security update in the form of a March 2023 update. The update is currently rolling out in Latin American countries, including Uruguay, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Argentina. It is expected that the company will soon expand the update in other countries.
Users who own Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ can identify the latest update by their firmware version numbers T87*XXS2DWC1 and T97*XXS2DWC1 respectively, (The * represents the different model numbers for Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G variants of the devices).
As said earlier, the latest update brings a new security patch as of March 2023. It fixes over 60 fixes which provide an invisible shield that protects our devices from external threats, so being a user of an android device, you should install the update so your data will be safe.
In most regions, the Galaxy Tab S7 has received the One UI 5.1, but having the vast availability, it hasn’t reached every country of the world, but it is expected that Samsung will soon expand the update to remaining countries, so if you belong to any of the countries where the One UI 5.1 isn’t available yet, wait for some days it will make available in the next few days.
