Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A53 5G getting March 2023 update in Australia and Canada

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A53 5G. The new update comes with the latest security patch in the form of March 2023. It is a general security update that brings the all-around security of the device. Let’s know more about the update.

The March 2023 update doesn’t come with any new feature, but it has included over 60 patches that Google and Samsung include; in detail, there are 40 patches available by Google that targets the Android OS, while Samsung has also added 23 extra patches that resolve the vulnerabilities issues which are reported in Galaxy devices.

Users of Galaxy A53 devices in Canada can identify the update by the firmware version number A536WVLS4CWB8. While Galaxy A52 5G is getting the update by the firmware version number A526BXXU2EWB5 in Australia.

The Galaxy A53 was launched in march last year; it came with One UI 4.0, which is based on Android 12; later, the device received one more major update, Android 13, and recently the device got the support of new features with One UI 5.1. As Samsung has promised to give support at least three Android updates to midrange devices so it, which means the users can enjoy new Android updates up to Android 15.

The Galaxy A52 5G was launched in 2021, it was the most popular device of Samsung in the midrange segment, and it offers a lot of specifications that give true value for money. It came with Android 11 preinstalled later, the device received new Android updates, and currently, it is running on Android 13-based One UI 5.1, which is the latest update for Galaxy devices. Galaxy A34 Gains April 2024 security update in Europe

After introducing the April 2024 security patch update to many high-end Galaxy devices belonging to the Galaxy Z and S series, Samsung has now turned its focus towards the A series devices. In the latest development, it has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy A34 devices.

Initially, Samsung distributed the April 2024 security patch to the European units of the Galaxy A34 devices, carrying the firmware version number A346BXXS6BXD1. In the coming days, we anticipate the company to extend the update to additional units.

For your information, the April 2024 security patch is one of the standard security patches that doesn’t bring any new features but will provide some security-related enhancements that will improve the overall performance and stability of the devices.

According to the official documentation, the April 2024 update brings more than 40 fixes, and Google has added 27 fixes that address the issues found in the Android OS. Meanwhile, there are 17 more fixes added by Samsung that address the issues found in Galaxy devices exclusively.

The Galaxy A53 is getting an April 2024 security patch update in Europe, carrying the firmware version number A536BXXS9DXD1. It is coming in a 242.54 MB software package. The update is currently spotted in some regions, and in the coming days, it will be available to all units in the next few days.

Now, with the latest development, Verizon has started rolling out the latest security patch to several Galaxy devices.
