Samsung releases April security patches for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4
Samsung continues to prove its dedication to timely device updates, with the recent release of the April 2023 security patches for its latest Galaxy S23 flagships and older flagships S22, S21, S20, and Note 20. Building on this momentum, the company has now begun rolling out the security update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 ad Z Flip 4 smartphones.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are receiving April 2023 security patches in the last few hours; the update is currently being released in Europe and Latin America but is expected to extend to other markets in the near future. However, it was already rolled out in the United States for unlocked users a week ago.
The April 2023 security update doesn’t bring any new features to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It comes with firmware versions F936BXXU2CWCC and F721BXXU2CWCC, respectively. The latest security update includes over 50 patches that Google adds; from those, 46 are high-security patches, four are critical, and one is moderate. In addition, Samsung has also included 15 additional fixes for enhancing the overall security of Galaxy devices.

if you are the owner of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 and want to manually check for the presence of the April 2023 security update, without waiting for the relevant notification, it will be sufficient to go to Settings > Software update > Download and install; if the update is not yet available, it will only be a matter of being patient.
