Samsung releases update for carrier-locked Galaxy S23, improving the photography in the US
Samsung has already distributed the April 2023 security patch with a major camera update for its flagships Galaxy S23 series in several markets, including the US, for unlocked users.
Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra received US carrier-locked the long-awaited update we discussed a few days ago, which integrates some improvements for the photographic sector and beyond. The update requires a download of almost 1 GB, so it’s more substantial than usual: let’s find out what’s new more closely.
The update in question is currently being released in the US for carrier-locked networks: Spectrum Mobile, US Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, and Verizon, but it is expected to reach all other carriers in the near future, considering the timing perhaps along with the security patches of April 2023. However, the update was already rolled out for T-Mobile users a few days ago.
It is not a simple security upgrade, as the weight mentioned above immediately suggests: the S91*USQU1AWC8 firmware improves different aspects of the photographic sector of the flagship trio.
