Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its ‘Health Collaboration Project’ aimed at presenting new healthcare trends in everyday life through its Samsung.com eFood Hall. For this project, Samsung utilized the Galaxy Watch and the Samsung Health app and collaborated with Hyundai Green Food’s healthy food ‘Greeting.’
Utilizing Galaxy Watch and Samsung Health App for Personalized Health Services
The project aims to offer consumers integrated services ranging from smart healthcare to personalized diet management services. Users of the Galaxy Watch 5 series and Watch 4 series can conveniently measure their body composition at any time and check the results in the Samsung Health app. Based on the data measured at the Samsung.com eFood Hall, customers can purchase healthcare food that suits them.
The Samsung.com eFood Hall sells about 80 healthcare foods based on the three major nutrients tandanji (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats) in collaboration with nutrition experts from Hyundai Green Food. The platform also plans to further strengthen its expertise in healthcare food by introducing specialized diets for diet control and disease-specific diets during the first half of the year.
Personalized Health Food Purchases at Samsung.com’s e-Food Hall
Samsung.com eFood Hall is a shopping platform with a differentiated concept of a ‘home appliance restaurant’ that connects home appliances and food. It presents a unique experience in connection with Samsung Electronics’ kitchen appliances. As the ‘Healthy Pleasure (pleasant health management)’ trend, which makes managing health fun and comfortable, is spreading, various user experiences will be provided based on health data measured by the Galaxy Watch and the Samsung Health app.
Samsung plans to introduce an integrated smart healthcare solution that connects exercise to diet, such as easily ordering recommended meals at the eFood Hall and providing customized recipes. Through this project, Samsung aims to provide a comprehensive healthcare solution for its users, making healthcare management more accessible and convenient.
To celebrate the launch of the ‘Health Collaboration Project,’ the Samsung Electronics eFood Hall is offering ‘Greeting’s representative tandanji products to the first 300 people on a first-come, first-served basis. The products offered include the ‘Clean It Salad Set,’ ‘High Protein Protein Up Set,’ and ‘Fat Down Set’ at a 50% discount.
Connecting Exercise to Diet: Smart Healthcare Solution
In addition, the ‘eFood Hall Family Week’ event will be held until the 14th of next month in celebration of Family Month, where customers can purchase family health foods at unconventional prices. Existing and new members of Samsung Electronics membership can use special coupons to purchase high-protein nutritious foods such as beef soup, bulgogi, protein snacks, and bottled water for 100 won. Purchases are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10:00 am every Tuesday, and shipping costs are separate. Only one item per person can be purchased during the entire event period.
Vice President Kim Seong-wook, Head of Marketing Team at Samsung Electronics Korea, said,“We introduced the Health Collaboration Project as consumer demand for fun and convenient health management anytime, anywhere increased.” We hope that the entire family will create a healthy daily life through the Samsung.com e-food hall, where you can purchase care food.”
