Verizon Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 get May 2023 update in the USA
Samsung has now rolled out May 2023 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the US; however, the company has already updated these devices with the same software in other countries.
The latest security update is now live in the US. Currently, the Carrier locked units of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are receiving the new software update. The update is now available on the Verizon network.

After introducing the April 2024 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 3 devices, Samsung has now made the April 2024 security patch update live for the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S21 smartphones in South Korea. Earlier, the company had already distributed the same update for these smartphones in some regions.
Notably, the Galaxy S23 FE is getting the April 2024 security patch update in South Korea with the firmware version number S711NKSS1BXD5. For the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, the update is coming with the firmware version numbers S901NKSU3DXD3, S906NKSU3DXD3, and S908NKSU3DXD3, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are getting the same update with firmware version numbers G991NKSU4FXD3, G996NKSU4FXD3, and G998NKSU4FXD3, respectively.
The April 2024 update brings new security-related enhancements; as per the documentation, there are more than 40 fixes introduced. Google has included 27 fixes that will resolve issues in the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 patches that will fix the issues found in Galaxy devices exclusively.
