Published

on

Google organized an I/O event last night. At this event, the company announced several features which will be offered in future updates for Android Auto and Android Automotive. People spend a lot of time in the car, which is why Google is now focusing on enhancing the user experience of these services with some new features. Let’s see what we will get in the future.

Android Auto and Android Automotive will support more new features

As Google is an open-source OS that allows a developer to manage the Android OS for their devices, however, this is only limited to Android devices, including Android smartphones, TVs, tablets, and many more, and now it is expanded to Android Automotive, now developers can easily make their apps for the car screen. Some applications have already been available on the service, including Spotify, Soundcloud, and Deezer.

Google Play May 2023 update to download: Here is the changelog

In the upcoming days, you will be able to attend all your meetings in your car via online channels like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco’s WebEx to grab the attention of its stock video app, i.e., Youtube. Google has already made it available for car manufacturers so they can use inbuilt video streaming apps.

Google will integrate these new functionalities into cars

  1. Users can enjoy a series of games on their car screens, including Beach Buggy
  2. Racing, SolitireFRVR, and My Talking Tom Friends, in the future, there will be more games available as it has the adaptable ability to run Android Games on a large screen.
  3. The car screen, which comes with built-in Android OS, is already one step ahead because Android Auto can handle Google Assistant and give quick replies to messages.
  4. Now, the Waze navigation application is also available for all cars with Android built-in.

These new features are coming in the coming days with an OTA (Over The Air) update on compatible vehicles.

Samsung Health is one of the prominent applications that provides several functions to manage user health. With time, Samsung has brought many features to the application so it can encourage the Galaxy user to give priority to their health. Now,  moving forward, with the same commitment, the company has brought new updates to the application.

Samsung Health App beta update

Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Samsung Health beta application, which is coming with version number 6.27.0.121. With the latest update, the company hasn’t brought any specific changelog, which indicates that the update may not bring any significant changes but will enhance the overall performance of the application.

Meanwhile, if we talk about the last significant update, it has brought new functions where users can compete against the post-running results, which keeps encouraging them to beat it. Along with this, the menstrual cycle is also enhanced, and the option is now placed at the top of the screen.

It is worth noting that Samsung Health’s new update is only available for users who are using the beta application; meanwhile, the update will also be available for more users in the coming days in the stable version as well.

To download the latest update for Samsung Heath beta, you just need to check for the update from the Galaxy Store; if it shows a new update available, tap on the update button and take advantage of the newly arrived changes for the application. In case the update hasn’t arrived on the Galaxy Store, users can also check it from an external source.

No More Public “Likes”: X (Formaly Twitter) Protects User Privacy

Published

Social media platform X (Formerly Twitter) is adding an extra layer of security as it says goodbye to “like” crises. The likes on a post will no longer be visible.

X has decided to keep all users’ preference data private, regardless of whether they have a premium subscription or not. Now the tons of likes a post receives will no longer be visible. This could reduce the anxiety and competition associated with public-like counts.

The reason behind this change appears to be to reduce negativity and encourage user engagement. This comes after the platform was criticized for exposing politicians and public figures who “liked” inappropriate content. Initially, the brand introduced an option to hide the “Likes” tab as an advantage for X Premium subscribers last year. In a recent tweet, a notification popup and it suggested that the social network will make likes private for everyone by the end of this week.

The new feature eliminates one of the reasons for signing up for a premium subscription since last year the brand’s advertising revenue suffered a rejection, and, to fix its financial crisis, it has introduced two new subscription phases. The Premium+ plan costs $16 per month and removes ads from their timelines, whereas the other is an affordable plan that costs $3 per month; this does not include the site’s blue checkmark.

Apart from this, it could make the platform more secure and safer and a more welcoming place for self-expression. However, it will be interesting to see whether this new twerk will have a positive effect or if it will push more users to consider the multiple subscription plans on offer.

WhatsApp is working to bring some convenience to the community group members. In the recent beta update, the development team is testing a media list that will offer community members the convenience of going through the recently shared media in the group. Let’s explore it more.

According to the report, WhatsApp has developed a separate space for community member groups where members can quickly check recently shared media files, including images, videos, and GIFs, in one place. For your information, this facility was already available for groups and chats, where users could check the video file from the chats’ profile info, and now it will be available for community members as well.

WhatsApp Recent Media Feature: How you can try the new feature

The latest feature is life for WhatsApp beta users, with the newest version being 2.24.13.4. If you are already a beta user, then you should start receiving the new update.
