Samsung likely to brings more camera optimizations for Galaxy S23

There is no doubt that Samsung’s newer flagship Galaxy S23 is the star smartphone series of the year 2023. It won’t be wrong to say that the series is labeled as best due to its Ultra model’s camera configuration, specifically the 200MP HP2 sensor. It is reported that this Ultra device is lined up to get an “unprecedented” update soon, which will bring plenty of camera optimizations with it. Let’s take a look at this upcoming update.

Recently, the popular tipster IceUniverse shared a Tweet on his Twitter handle in which he revealed that the upcoming update for the year 2023’s eye-stealer Galaxy S23 Ultra is “unprecedented”. The tipster also shared that this camera optimization-centered update will reach the in-question Galaxy S23 Ultra device at the end of May or June. Notably, the update will surely take this device’s photographic abilities to the top. 

Let us inform you the aforementioned device, along with the whole Galaxy S23 series, received an OTA update on 2nd March 2023. This OTA update fixed the series’ camera-related issues that were creating hurdles for the users while using the device’s camera. However, there are still some issues, such as “banana-gate” and “HDR vignetting,” that are yet to get fixed. These are expected to fix with the upcoming update.

Informatively, two weeks ago, the Galaxy-parent Samsung released the May 2023 security patches to this flagship series Galaxy S23. At present, the company is expanding this update’s reach in more to more regions. It is highly possible that the upcoming June patch OTA will be equipped with camera-related stuff such as 2x zoom in Portrait.
