Samsung has introduced many watches in the Galaxy Watch lineup, including Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active 2, Galaxy Watch (first edition), Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

However, Samsung Galaxy watches up to the third generation watches the company has loaded then with Tizen OS, while for the later watches, i.e., Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5, the company introduced its latest One UI watch skin, which is compatible with WearOS.

Samsung is actively working on expanding its wearable family as it gears up to launch the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Now, the battery for the Pro variant of the Watch 7 series has been spotted on the BIS certification.

The next-generation Galaxy Watch 7 series will be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is supposed to be held in early July 2024. Samsung could offer three variants of the Galaxy Watch 7 series rumored as standard and classic, and out of those, one could be a ‘Pro’ variant. Reports now indicate that the BIS certification has revealed the battery of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 Pro.

By the BIS spotting, it is expected that the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro will feature a 578 mAh battery, which could be advertised as a 600mAh battery. The battery has been spotted with the model number EB-705ABY. The existence spotted on BIS means Samsung is actively working to launch the smartwatch in India.

Another report is reporting that a model number of Samsung’s wearable has been spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database as SM-L305U, which is the Galaxy Watch 7 with a 40mm version and LTE connectivity for the US market. As per the certification, the upcoming Watch 7 will feature Bluetooth 5.3 with LE.

It is expected that Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Watch 7 powered by the Exynos W940 SoC, which will result in 50% more efficiency and 30% faster performance as compared to its predecessor generation at a Galaxy Unpacked event, along with the next-generation foldable devices Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to run Wear OS 5. It could also feature a new 3nm chip, which is said to offer a 50% increase in power efficiency over the Galaxy Watch 6. This time, the giants could also increase the storage capacity of the Galaxy Watch 7 to 32GB.

Samsung to Re-Release Galaxy Watch 4 in 2024, Not Launching FE Version

Published

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE was a folk story since Samsung is gearing up to introduce a rebranded version of the 2021 Galaxy Watch.

A few days ago, it was reported that the Korean giants were working on bringing a new Galaxy Watch under Fan Edition branding, but that report is a false rumor. Recent reports are saying that Samsung is working on expanding its wearable area by delivering a rebranded version of the Galaxy Watch 4, initially launched back in 2021, instead of any new FE variant.

The rebranded variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 (2024) is in line, and this is being speculated by a post by a reliable tipster (Max Jambor) on X, who stated that “Galaxy Watch 4 (2024)” By this statement, it’s pretty clear that the FE variant for the Galaxy Watch is not in existence yet.

However, previous reports have already reported that Samsung could release a new variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 in 2024. Somehow, this is not new for the Korean giants, as recently they introduced a new variant, the Tab S6 Lite (2024), which is the third version of the original Tab S6 Lite 2020. Plus, these upgraded variants often have the same specifications as the previous variants, which means that if the recent reports come true, the new variant Galaxy Watch 4 (2024) could share many features with the 2021 Galaxy Watch 4.

The original variant, the Galaxy Watch 4, features up to 44mm sizes, a circular Super AMOLED display, and advanced health tracking capabilities such as body composition measurement and sleep tracking. It is powered by the in-house Exynos W920 SoC and runs on Wear OS 3.

However, Samsung has not officially revealed anything regarding the forthcoming Galaxy Watch 4 (2024) variant yet, but it will be interesting to see what new features and functions it will bring.
