Samsung QLED 98-Inch 4K Smart TV 2023 Lineup Now Available in the US
For those who have adequate space, Samsung is expanding its selection of 4K OLED Smart TVs by including a 98-inch model. To benefit from the early reservation and pre-order discounts before the 98-inch Samsung QLED 4K TV launches, you may place a reservation for the $7,999 television starting right now. If you reserve the 98-inch Samsung QLED 4K TV on Samsung’s website from now on until July 2, you’ll receive a $500 discount on the TV’s purchase price. For the most immersive experience, Samsung recommends a viewing distance of 10 feet for their 98-inch QLED 4K TV.
Between July 3 and July 23, if you order the TV early from Samsung, you’ll receive an additional $1,000 off the Samsung Q800C Series soundbar, free shipping, and TV installation. Samsung claims that the TV’s bezel-free design on three sides, which allows Dolby Atmos sound, doesn’t degrade the overall sound quality. With Direct Full Array and Quantum HDR+ technology integrated into the display panel of the “ultra edge” TV will have better overall colour and picture quality.

Though the 98Q80C does include a Direct Full Array backlight with local dimming for improved blacks, a mini-LED backlight enables better peak brightness than what you can anticipate from a conventional QLED model. Any material you play on the TV, including HD movies and even video games, will be upscaled by Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processor to 4K quality.

The “Smart TV” part of the moniker refers to the availability of several cloud streaming game services from Xbox, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Amazon Luna, in addition to mirroring a big screen experience and providing amazing sound. You’ll also have access to streaming applications and services, eliminating the need for a separate set-top streaming box.
