Carrier-locked Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Fold 4, Flip 4, and Note 20 5G getting June 2023 security update in the US
The June 2023 security update is continuously expanding in the US. The update has already been available for several Galaxy devices; however, it is not available for all carriers. Now some more carriers have released the update for some Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are receiving the new update with firmware version numbers F936USQU2CWF1 and F721USQU2CWF1, respectively. Both of the devices are getting the new update on T-Mobile and MetroPCS. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is grabbing the update with the firmware version number F707USQU5HWE3. The update for the device is spotted on T-Mobile and Sprint networks. And expected that it will be available on more carriers in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices are getting a new update with firmware versions N981USQU4HWF1 and N986USQU4HWF1, respectively. The update is now available on two more networks, including Xfinity Mobile (Comcast) and Spectrum Mobile.

The latest update brings a new security patch in the form of a June 2023 security patch. It includes over 60 patches which enhance the overall security and stability of the devices. Additionally, the change also says that it will change the terms and conditions of the device with the installation.
If you are using any of the above-mentioned devices in the US, you will get the new update through OTA. So just check the update by going to the system settings > software update> Download and install > hit the download button.
