Although Samsung has yet to make any official announcements regarding the One UI 6.0 beta, it is possible to make an educated guess based on the release patterns of previous One UI versions in 2022. Speculations suggest that Samsung may initiate a One UI 6.0 beta program during the third week of July, targeting specific devices in key markets. Those who meet the eligibility criteria will have the opportunity to sign up and test the beta firmware of the new interface using the Samsung Members app. However, the question remains: which devices will be included in this beta program?
It is expected that the One UI 6.0 update will bring a lot of enhancements which improve the security mechanism of Galaxy devices. With this update, users have many expectations and desire some new features like multi-user profiles, Passkeys for Native Apps, Emoji wallpaper generator, native app lock, and One UI Boot animation.
Samsung Galaxy devices that should get the One UI 6.0 update
For the new One UI update, Samsung follows the same strategy. Initially, the company pushed the update to the latest flagship devices. This takes time to expand to more countries; once it’s done, it focuses on the older flagship devices. Gradually it makes its debut in the midrange premium devices and then follows the same pattern till the last eligible Galaxy device.
As per past records, Samsung will start the One UI 6.0 beta program in July or August, and there will be a different number of beta updates for the Galaxy devices. It is expected that the One UI 6.0 stable update will be available by the end of October.
With the first One UI 6.0 beta rollout, we will get new hints about the stable update. Samsung will rollout beta updates in the latest flagship models of the Galaxy lineup. The beta update will be available only in seven countries, including China, Germany, India, Poland, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
