Third WearOS-based One UI 5 Watch beta for Galaxy Watches in the USA
Samsung initiated the beta testing phase for One UI Watch 5 on its Wear OS smartwatches at the beginning of the previous month. Within a span of just over a week, two beta builds were released, aiming to address various bugs and inconsistencies found in the initial build. Now, after a few weeks, Samsung is rolling out yet another beta update, focusing on resolving additional issues.
Samsung started the third One UI 5 Watch for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series in South Korea, and it expanded in the United States. If you have enrolled your Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 5 in the program, you can expect to receive an over-the-air (OTA) update in the near future. The update package weighs slightly over 425MB and carries a firmware version ending with ZWFC, while the previous build number concluded with ZWF4.
Samsung has fixed an issue related to blood oxygen measurements during sleep. The new update also improves sleep tracking and optimizes screen brightness for better visibility outdoors. It patched battery drain issues as well. The update should also bring system stability, reliability improvements, and new security patches.
