Samsung has recently rolled out updates for its latest flagship models, the Galaxy S, Note, and foldable, along with various mid-range devices like the Galaxy A53. Now, the company has directed its attention to the Galaxy A52s 5G, delivering the anticipated July 2023 security patch in Asia, Europe, and South America.

Unlike previous updates, the latest patch focuses primarily on addressing issues related to errors, vulnerabilities, and failures. While these improvements undoubtedly enhance the device’s performance and stability, users shouldn’t expect any new features to accompany this update. The emphasis lies in ensuring a more secure and reliable experience for Galaxy A52s 5G users.

For European users, the July 2023 security patch for the Galaxy A52s is labeled with firmware number A528BXXS4EWG1, while Indian users will find it under A528BXXS4EWG2. On the other hand, the update is also available in South American countries and starting from Brazil with firmware version A528BXXS4EWF3 with a file size of approximately 250 to 260 MB.

The update brings significant enhancements, addressing over 90 issues, including 38 critical ones. Samsung is working hard to provide the One UI 6.1 update to all the eligible devices. In the first phase, it rolled out the update to the latest flagship device, then in phase two, it distributed the update to older flagship devices. Now, it has started rolling out the update to midrange and budget-friendly devices. Now, moving forward, the Galaxy A33 has started getting the One UI 6.1 update.

Notably, the Galaxy A33 5G has already received the One UI 6.1 update in several regions, including Europe, Singapore, and South Korea. Samsung has rolled out the May 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy S20 FE in Europe; however, these devices have already received the update in different regions, which doesn’t have any significant changes for the device, but if you are conscious of the security, you should update the device to the latest version.

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A33 5G are getting May 2024 security patch updates with the firmware version numbers G781BXXSBHXE5 and A336BXXS9EXE2, respectively. Meanwhile, the 4G variant of the Galaxy S20 FE has the firmware version number G780FXXSHFXE5.

Samsung has already introduced the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A14 5G devices, but it was limited to Asian regions. Now it has rolled out the update for the locked variant in the US.
