Samsung Wallet’s Digital Storage for ID Cards, Tickets, and Boarding Passes”
As the name suggests, Samsung Wallet is a payment service application, but it is more than that. One of the easiest and safest methods to make payments with your phone is through this secure platform, which can also store passwords, IDs, loyalty cards, and even vehicle keys. Samsung Wallet, in other words, is an application that offers combined features of Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass by offering to save all of your credit cards, bank accounts, keys, and boarding tickets that are scattered across your email.
As a part of its vision #PoweringDigitalIndia, now the firm has brought a few new accessible features to Samsung Wallet that benefits the users. Owners of Galaxy smartphones may now access all of their essential digital IDs, including their PAN card, driving license, vehicle registration certificate, and Aadhaar card. Co-WIN vaccination certificates may be readily and securely stored. In addition to this, the users will have direct access to over 2,000 more IDs and documents through Samsung Wallet.
Galaxy users can update this feature from the Galaxy store. These wallet features were implemented by a committed team of engineers, designers, and product managers at the Bangalore Samsung R&D Institute. New UPI accounts, FASTag for going through road tollways and adding train tickets or boarding cards by scanning the QR code or barcode or by importing the picture or PDF to Samsung Wallet can be possible.
Users don’t need to panic about their information stored in a Samsung wallet if the phone is lost, as the app is protected by Samsung Knox’s fingerprint identification and biometric verification. Most sensitive contents are kept safe due to inbuilt secure elements, which work in opposing online and offline hacking.
Ms. Reshma Virmani, Director of Services & Engagement, Samsung India, declared,” With Samsung Wallet, we are offering consumers an entirely safe and secure environment for accessing their cards, IDs, and documents, bringing a new level of everyday convenience to mobile devices. This also strengthens our commitment to being a strong partner of India with our vision of Powering Digital India.”
