Galaxy A52 5G grabs September 2023 Security update
Samsung is very active in terms of new software updates. The company recently rolled out the One UI 5.1.1 update to several devices, and now, without taking any breaks, the company has started rolling out the September 2023 security update to the Galaxy devices. Previously, Samsung has updated the Galaxy S23 devices, but now it is expanding to the midrange Galaxy A52 5G device.
Notably, the Galaxy A52 5G is now getting the new update in Canada. It comes with the firmware version number A526WVLSAEWH1. The latest update doesn’t include any new functionality for the device. So don’t expect any changes for your devices.

Moreover, the September 2023 update brings 60+ fixes, which ultimately strengthen the security of your devices. The update may also carry some improvements for the internal functions, so it will enhance the stability and performance of your device.
It is worth noticing that Samsung has listed the Galaxy A52 5G in the monkey security update list, which means it will get new updates every month. However, when the device gets older than three years, it may be degraded to biannual updates.
The Galaxy A52 5G was released back in 2021. It came with Android 11 preinstalled, and later it gradually grabbed two major updates. Samsung has promised to give three years of OS updates, so the device is eligible for the Android 14-based One UI 6. Even after this, the device will get more updates for at least one more year.
