Android 14-based One UI 6 Stable update nearing release
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is the latest flagship smartphone in the Galaxy S lineup, and as usual, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 6 beta updates for these devices. It is also important to note that the company has released five beta updates for the devices, and now it looks like the Korean giant will drop the stable update in a few days.
In comparison to last year, the One UI 6 beta program is running rapidly. If Samsung takes the same time between the last beta update and the stable update, this year we may enjoy the update earlier. For your information, the One UI 5 stable update was available to Galaxy S22 devices on October 24, 2022.
The reason behind the chances of the One UI 6 beta 5 is that the last update is high because, with the latest beta update, the company hasn’t included any more issues, which will be fixed with another update. While with the previous update, there were two groups of issues that always came up, as in the first group, it described the issues that were fixed, while in the other group, it brought up issues that will be resolved with the upcoming update.
However, Samsung is also dependent on Google in terms of sending Android updates to its devices, so firstly, Google will introduce the Android 14 update for its Pixel devices; this time, the company will introduce the update to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. Once it successfully hits the market, the Korean giant will update its devices with the One UI 6 stable update.
