Galaxy Tab A7 Lite could also get Android 14 (One UI 6) update in the coming days
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was one of the most affordable series devices by Samsung; it was introduced back in 2021, and the device came with Android 11 pre-installed. Samsung has promised to give at least a three-year update for the Galaxy A series devices. As the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was released later than the original Galaxy Tab A7 series devices, it is therefore eligible for the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 updates.
When is One UI 6 available for the Galaxy A7 Lite?
Samsung follows a pattern of updating their devices with major updates; initially, it brings the update to the flagship devices, like in today’s scenario, where the first contender to get the update is the Galaxy S23, then gradually it becomes available to other Series devices. After updating the Galaxy S series device, the company will start expanding the update to the Galaxy Z series devices. Along with this, the update may also be available for other Galaxy A series devices. Then it could be available for Galaxy Tab A series tablets, so on the basis of this, the update could be available for Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the early next year.
Samsung has already started testing One UI 6 on the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
In further development, a new firmware was spotted on the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, which is most likely the One UI 6 build. The latest firmware comes as T225XXU4DWI4, which is supposed to be the latest firmware because it has a new alphabet letter D that has replaced the C that was available in the One UI 5.1.1 firmware build as T225XXU4CWI2. It generally means that the new build will be a major update.
What will you get with the One UI 6 update?
Samsung has already rolled out the One UI 6 beta updates for several Galaxy devices. In these updates, the company has already shown the availability of different features that will enhance several system-level functions, including Quick Settings, Quick Share, new editing features, and many more.
