Galaxy Watch 6 get November 2023 update in several countries including the US

Samsung is constantly rolling out new updates for its devices. This month, it has expanded two types of updates: one UI 6 stable, which is a major update, and a security update in the form of a November 2023 patch. It is worth noticing that the company doesn’t limit the security update to its smartphones and tablets but also makes it available to smartwatches as well.

Galaxy Watch 6 grabs a November 2023 update

Samsung has rolled out the new firmware update for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. In the latest update, it has sent a new security patch, which will provide new enhancements for strengthening the security of the devices. As the Galaxy Watch works with different software compared to smartphones and tablets, it will get some other types of fixes.

The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 6 is coming with different firmware versions for each model. For your clarity, the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm and 44mm are coming with firmware version numbers R930XXU1AWK4 and R940XXU1AWK4, respectively.

The Galaxy Watch 6 classic’s 43mm and 47mm are receiving the update with firmware version numbers R950XXU1AWK4 and R960XXU1AWK4, respectively. It is worth noticing that the update is currently available for the Bluetooth models in several countries in multiple regions, including Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America, and the US.

If you are also using any of the Galaxy Watch 6 series watches, then you can easily update these devices to the latest version by following these steps: Go to the Galaxy wearable app on the Android smartphone that is connected to the watch, then open the watch settings. Here, you have to select watch software update, then tap on download and install. If it shows a new update available, then tap on the install now button.
