Samsung details December 2023 security update with 66 fixes
Like every month, Samsung’s team of developers is getting ready to update their big smartphones and tablets in December. Recently, Samsung revealed the details of this month’s update and shared an official bulletin.
The developers at Samsung have been busy fixing security issues in their Galaxy series devices. They’ve managed to address a total of 66 security flaws. Google developers identified 50 of these security flaws, while Samsung Semiconductor identified none and Samsung’s mobile division identified 16. In the December 2023 security patch, seven issues are considered critical, 63 are high priority, and six are moderate.

Samsung tackled various vulnerabilities, including things like buffer overflow, AR Emoji, KnoxCustom Service, bootloader, SmartManager, Knox Guard, and Contacts.
