Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update reaches to the Galaxy A14 LTE

Samsung traditionally brought the major updates to Galaxy devices by following a pattern where the latest flagship phones get updates first, then it gradually expands it to midrange devices, and finally it distributes it to entry-level or budget segment devices. To reach the final stage, it generally takes more than three months, but this time with the Galaxy A14, it doesn’t happen. The Korean giant has quickly updated the device with One UI 6.
Notably, the One UI 6 has already reached several units of the Galaxy A14, but it was limited to the 5G variants in several countries, including India. Now it is available for the LTE variant as well. As of writing, the update was spotted in an Asian country, Kazakhstan. However, it is expected to be available in more countries in the coming days.
The One UI 6 is the latest UI update for the devices, and it comes with a lot of new features. In a nutshell, these features are added under several built-in system applications, including Camera, Gallery, Weather, Samsung Internet, Samsung Keyboard, and many more. Two useful widgets are also included, such as a custom camera, which gives a shortcut to a specific camera mode, and an insight widget. Along with this, the company has also added a new application, Auto Blocker. If you want to experience all these features, then you should update the device to the latest version.
The latest update for the Galaxy A14 LTE is coming with the firmware version number BWK8 (last letter). It also includes the latest security update, which is coming in the form of a November 2023 patch. It is worth noticing that, being a budget-range device, it is getting the core version of One UI 6. To update it, follow these steps: Go to system settings, click on Software Update, then tap the first option, “Download and Install,” and wait until it finishes searching. If the update is available, then click on the Download button.
