Samsung has rolled out the One UI 6 update to many Galaxy devices that are running on the beta program; this includes all the S and A series devices, and even the latest Galaxy Z devices. They also grabbed the update a long time ago, but for some reason the company took a long time to expand it to more foldable devices. However, the company has now started rolling out the update for the older foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones.

Notably, the One UI 6 update is currently spotted on those units of Galaxy devices that are based in the US. More specifically, the unlocked units of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are getting the major update with different firmware version numbers, EWL1 and HWL1, respectively.

One UI 6.1 Goes the Extra Mile with Battery Protection Features

The One UI 6 is the latest major update for Galaxy devices. It has brought a plethora of features. If we take some highlights from the changelog, with the latest One UI version, Galaxy users will get a whole new experience in using several functions, including Camera, Gallery, Photo Editor, Video Player, Samsung Health, Reminder, and many more.

If you are also using the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Fold 3 devices in the US, then you should update them to the latest version. To do that, you can simply go to the software update menu in the main system settings, then tap on the download and install option. Wait for some time until it checks for a new update; if it says a new update is available, then tap the download button.
