Samsung released Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for carrier-locked Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the US

Last week, Samsung rolled out the One UI 6 update to older foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. Moving forward, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has started getting a major update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 device in the US.

The latest update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is now available for the locked units, which are affiliated with US Cellular and carry the version number F721USQU3EWL1. The update also includes the latest security update in the form of a December 2023 patch. More carriers are expected to release the update in the next few days.

Moreover, the One UI 6 update is the latest skin upgrade for Samsung, which is based on Android 14. With this upgrade, users will grab several new features and improvements that will be available for Galaxy devices. According to the official changelog, the latest update will provide several new changes under different built-in functions, including Calendar, Health, Video Player, Gallery, Camera, Quick Panel, Reminder, and many more.

Moreover, if you want to have a whole new experience on your device, then you should install the latest update. If you received the notification, then click on it, and it will redirect you to the software update menu, where you can easily update it from there. But if you haven’t received the notification yet, you can also check it manually by going to the system settings.

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 4 back in 2022; it came with Android 12 preinstalled, later it received the Android 13 update, and now it has started getting the second major update in the form of Android 14-based One UI 6. The device is eligible to get at least four major updates in the future.
