Samsung Expands Camera Assistant support for older Galaxy devices

Samsung has introduced the Camera Assistant application as a premium application that is initially available for high-end devices. The Korean giant has introduced the application to the Galaxy S22 series devices with the One UI 5.1 update, and later it rolled out the update to more devices that received the One UI 5.1 update, including the Galaxy S23, S23FE, S22, S21, S20, Note20, Fold5, Flip5, Fold4, Flip4, Fold3, Flip3, Fold2, and Flip devices in the first phase.

After a couple of months, the company has added two more Galaxy A series devices, including the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A53. Now, with the latest developments, the company is expanding the application availability to more Galaxy devices, like the Galaxy A73, Galaxy A72, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A52 5G, M54 5G, F54 5G, and Quantum 2.

The latest expansion of the Camera Assistant application is moving forward with the new version 9.65MB; it also includes a new stabilization code to provide a more stable function. So if you want to get the latest version on your device, you can do it through the Galaxy Store.

  1. Why is the Camera Assistant application not available yet on the Galaxy device mentioned above?

The application is already rolled out for all the mentioned Galaxy devices. To ensure you keep your device up to date, if you have a One UI 6.0 compatible device, you should update it and then check it on the Galaxy Store.

  2. Is it a separate application, or will it be integrated into the main camera application?

It is a Good Lock module, which will be available separately, but it will work on the stock camera application cooperatively.

  3. Is it the same application as Expert RAW?

No, it is very different from it because it only gives the option for changing the setting of the camera, but Expert RAW completely provides a new option for better control of the function of the camera.
