Galaxy A53, A52s, Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and Flip LTE get January 2024 Update in Europe

Samsung is rolling out the January 2024 security patch for its several Galaxy devices in Europe; however, with the latest update, the company doesn’t bring any new features or innovations for the device, but it aims to provide security-related enhancements for the devices.

Samsung updates the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, A53, and A52s in January 2024

Samsung has rolled out the January 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy A52s with the firmware version numbers F926BXXS5GWL7, F711BXXS6GWL7, and A528BXXS6FXA1, respectively. According to the changelog, it is a standard security update that may also bring some new features but will be significant as a major update.

According to the information, the January 2024 security patch is available for Galaxy A53 devices in Europe and is soon to be available for more units in other parts of the world. The device is getting an update with the firmware version number A536USQS9DXA4. Several countries, including Austria, Croatia, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK, have spotted the new update, and it may become available in more countries in the next few days.

These devices already grabbed the One UI 6.0 update in the previous update, which introduced several new features that have an impact on many built-in applications. If we talk about the next significant update, then it will be One UI 6.1, which will unlock the full potential of all the new features introduced.

The Galaxy Flip LTE also gets a January 2024 security update

The Galaxy Z Flip smartphone receives a new update in Europe. It is carrying the firmware version number F700FXXSEKWL1. The update is currently available only for the LTE variants, but it will soon be available for the 5G variants as well. While it has already been rolled out in the US, the update includes a new security patch in the form of January 2024, so don’t be too excited because it doesn’t bring any new features or changes for the devices.
