Samsung has started rolling out the January 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite devices. It is worth noticing that the device is already retired from the major update session, so it is no longer eligible to get any Android updates, but it is still eligible to get some new updates in the form of a security patch, and now it is receiving a new update.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has been spotted getting the January 2024 security update in some Latin American countries with the firmware version number N770FXXS9HXA1. More specifically, the update is currently spotted in Brazil and is expected to be available in more countries in the next few days.

The January 2024 security patches are one of the parts of the device security maintenance update that is rolled out every month by Google to every Android device, and for Galaxy devices, this update brings more new security patches than exclusively.

According to the official documentation of Samsung, a total of 80 patches are included in the update, with 75 fixes added by Google to address the issues found in the Android OS and 5 more patches added by Samsung to address the issues found in the internal functioning of Galaxy devices.

So if you also want to get new security enhancements on your device, then you should update your device to the latest version. To do that, just go to the software update menu through the system main settings. If you haven’t received the update yet, then you have to wait some more time.
