One UI 6.1 Brings Bluetooth Auracast Broadcast

Samsung, with its latest One UI 6.1 software, delivers a brand new feature named Bluetooth to enhance the users’ experience.
Samsung launched its latest software, One UI 6.1, on the Galaxy S24 lineup, along with a bundle of new features, changes, AI capabilities, and many more unignorable improvements. Out of all the convenient features, one of the most noticeable is Bluetooth.
A couple of weeks ago, the Korean tech giants introduced Bluetooth Aircast to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro; however, at that moment, it didn’t couple its Galaxy smartphone with the capability to create Bluetooth Aurcast audiocasts that others could join. But now, finally, the wait is over. The giants introduced this convenient feature along with the OneUI 6.1 update.

This is being speculated by a post on X, formerly Twitter, shared by @MishaalRahman, which states that the Galaxy S24 series has the ability to start a Bluetooth LE audio broadcast!
Now, Galaxy S24 users can easily get access to ‘Broadcast Sound Using Auracast’ by just following the steps mentioned here:
- Go to the phone’s Settings.
- Tap on Bluetooth.
- Then, hit the three-dot menu.
- At last, broadcast sound using Auracast.
With this feature, the brand is offering a new ability: several Bluetooth earphones with LE Audio and Auracast have the ability to join a single audio broadcast. Also, for a secured experience, whenever others are joining the Auracast audiocast originating from their smartphone, they will need a four-digit passcode. Due to this, unauthorized people can’t join the audiocast.
For now, only the Galaxy S24 series has this feature, since One UI 6.1 is only running on the Galaxy S24 series. But it is expected that the brand, along with the One UI 6.1 update, might deliver this feature to the rest of the eligible Samsung smartphones.
