Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Storage Is Faster Than iPhone 15 Pro Max

Samsung is one of the toughest competitors of Apple in the tech industry. Recently, it launched the Galaxy S24 flagship series with convenient features, great specifications, and a brand new design.

It’s quite natural to compare the latest flagship smartphone with the already existing ones. For now, the already existing one is Apple’s latest flagship device, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, whereas on the other side, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the latest arrival in the market.

Recently, a benchmark compared the storage speeds of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Let’s take a closer look at the comparison to make it clear which smartphone is the better option among both.

Samsung has attached UFS 4.0 storage to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro Max has NVMe standard. And it seems that the Galaxy S24 Ultra storage is the faster one.

It is known that Sakitech measured the storage speeds of both flagships with the help of a benchmark named Jazz Disc Bench, and as per the results, fortunately, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is quite better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max by a wide margin, particularly in terms of sequential read speeds.

The results show that the Galaxy S24 Ultra scored 75% higher as compared to its competitor in sequential read speed and 15% higher in terms of sequential write speed.

Moving on to the transfer speed, then:

  • The Galaxy S24 Ultra has 2547.26 MB per second.
  • The iPhone 15 Pro Max has 1450.42 MB per second.

However, the difference is pretty small, but the fact is that Samsung wins the race: 1442.25 MB/s vs. 1257.99 MB/s. The random read and write speeds and related latencies are a tiny bit better housed in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Basically, as a comparison prospect, the Galaxy S24 Ultra storage and speed are faster, but that doesn’t mean the iPhone 15 Pro Max has too little or is too slow. Both are the flagship devices, and as per their specific hardware and software, both of them have sufficient specs that play an important role in the final experience.
