Samsung has recently introduced its new flagship lineup, including the Galaxy S24. Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 ultra, which feature One UI 6.1 firmware, these devices have grabbed the attention not only of one department, which has hyped the users to purchase the device but within the first week, there’s bad news that claims to have the green line issue.
According to a Reddit user, he has been facing the Greenline issue in the device even though he has only used it for 6 days. Going into details, the screen appears to have two lines. There is one vertical green line, and a bold white line spotted horizontally. The user has shared both pictures. One image is the phone’s booting, and the second is the phone’s running condition.
At first sight, it looks like it may be accidental damage to the device, but the consumer has denied it and claims that he has used the device carefully; if it is true, then Samsung has to be fully aware of it and take some steps before the issue becomes widespread in more devices.
If the consumer’s claims become true, he doesn’t need to worry as it may be available, and he can easily get a replacement unit from Samsung. To do it, the consumer has to go to the nearby authorized service center and share his concern with them; if it is a hardware defect, then the company will surely replace it.
This issue is not a fresh one, but it has already been encountered in some older Galaxy devices as well; previously, it has appeared in Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, and Note 20 Ultra devices. As they were already out of warranty, the consumer had no way left other than to repair them, but the Galaxy S24 is their fresh device, so now you will have a chance to replace it free of cost.
