Samsung has started rolling out the February 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices. The latest update for the devices is designed to provide some security-related fixes, which means the device will not get any significant features.

Notably, the update is currently limited to the unlocked variant of the devices. Users who own the device can identify the latest update by the firmware version number S91*U1UES2BXAD. According to the information, the update is coming in a software package of 402.90 MB. It is expected that the latest security patch update will be available for unlocked devices in the next few days.

For your information, the February 2024 update comes with over 60 fixes; 61 security vulnerability fixes are addressed by Google, which specifically enhance the Android OS system. Apart from this, there are also 8 more issues resolved by Samsung for the Galaxy devices exclusively.

Moreover, the security patches are standard security updates that aim to strengthen the security of the device. Along with this, the update sometimes also provides some extra enhancements for the device by improving its performance and stability.

As previously reported, Samsung will first provide the February 2024 security patch to the latest Galaxy devices, then expand the One UI 6.1 update to the devices; however, there is no information available about when the update will be available for the device. But if you are using any higher devices that were released last year, be ready for One UI 6.1 because the company will provide the update anytime in the next few days.
