Samsung has rolled out the February 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S23 in several countries, including the US and some parts of Europe. Now, moving forward, the company has started expanding the update to more units of the devices.
Moving forward, the Galaxy S23 has started receiving updates in Canada and Australia. Users who are using the Canadian variant of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra with the firmware version number S91*WVLS2BXAD and those who have Australian Variant can identify with the build number S91*BXXS3BXAD.
For your information, the latest update is coming with the February 2024 security update, which will provide several new security patches that are included by Google and Samsung. There are more than 60 fixes from them; there are 61 fixes added by Google; and Samsung has added 8 fixes, which bring some new features.
Moreover, the update is just a simple security patch, which doesn’t bring any innovation but may provide some new improvements under the internal settings, so if you are also the one who is facing some issues, then you have to update your device, so it may address the issue. If you are using Galaxy S23 devices in Canada or Australia, then you can check for the latest update through the software update in the system settings, or if you have received the update notification, you can also go directly by tapping on the notification, and you will be redirected directly to the update menu.
The Galaxy S23 could be the first device to receive One UI 6.1 initially with the expansion. With the next One UI update, the device will be able to get some exclusive Galay AI features; however, currently the date is not confirmed, but as per some reports, the Korean giant could give the update to the Galaxy S23 in the next month.
