Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 receive February 2024 update in Europe

A couple of days ago, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series in the US grabbed the February 2024 security patch update. For the Galaxy Note 20, it was spotted for both locked and unlocked variants of devices, while for the Galaxy S20, it was spotted on the locked variants. Now,  with expansion, it is available for the European units as well. 

Notably, the February 2024 patch update for the European units of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has the firmware version numbers N981FXXSAHXB1 and N986FXXSAHXB1, respectively, while the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers G981BXXSJHXA1, G986BXXSJHXA1, and G988BXXSJHXA1, respectively.

The latest update for these devices doesn’t bring any new features, but it will bring some security-related enhancements. According to the official documentation, it will provide you with nearly six dozen new fixes that impact the internal systems of the devices. There are some common fixes introduced by Google that address the issues present in the Android OS, and others are introduced by Samsung to make the Galaxy devices more secure.

Moreover, the latest update for these devices comes with some visual changes as well. If you are having any issues while installing the latest software, the update may help you get rid of them.

If you are using the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy Note 20 series device in Europe, then you have to install the latest update by following the simple steps: first, go to the system settings, then tap on the software update option and select the download and install option. Wait for some time until it finishes searching, then tap on the download button.
