Samsung is one by one rolling out the February 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 devices. Initially,  it has released the update for the units belonging to South Korea, but after taking a break for some days, the company has now released the update in several countries, including the US, and now the update is available for the devices belonging to Australia.

The February 2024 security update is now available for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with the firmware version numbers S921BXXU1AXB5, S926BXXU1AXB5, and S928BXXU1AXB5, respectively. The update is coming with a software size of 746.50 MB. As you can see, the update is comparatively bigger than security patch updates, and the reason is obvious: it includes some extra features.

The latest update for the Galaxy S24 brings some new improvements, such as resolving the vivid color screen issue and adding a dedicated slider for controlling the level of color, which means now users can easily set how much they want to color the screen. Along with this, the update also enhances the camera-related software on the device, so you will get better-quality images.

Apart from the new changes, the update also brings some new enhancements for the security of the devices. In a nutshell, it will address nearly seven dozen security vulnerability issues, which will provide a whole new update for the devices.

If you are a Galaxy S24 user in Australia, then you can now update your device by following the simple steps: tap on the system settings, go to the software update menu, wait until it finishes searching, and if it shows a new update available, then tap on the download button. If you don’t receive the update yet, then you have to wait some more time.
