Samsung rolls out the February 2024 security update for Galaxy A51 and A53 in several countries

We are heading towards the end of the month, but the company is still working towards providing the February 2024 security update to some remaining Galaxy smartphones. With the latest development, the company has started rolling out the new security patch to two midrange Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A53.

The Galaxy A51 5G has received a new security patch update with the firmware version number A516BXXS8FXA1. It has been spotted getting the update in Europe. The Galaxy A53 is spotted with A536EXXS8DXA8 and receiving the February 2024 update in multiple countries, including Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the Caucasus region, the UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

The February 2024 security patch is the latest update that brings some new security-related patches. Going into details, there are more than 60 patches introduced; from them, there are 61 patches added by Google that address the issues found in Android OS, and 8 other fixes introduced by Samsung that introduce fixes that improve the issues of Galaxy devices exclusively.

Moreover, the latest update may also introduce some more improvements for the internal functioning of the devices, so they will see some enhancements in performance and stability. If you are having any issues while using your smartphone since the last update, then you should also update it to the latest version; the update may address the issues.

If you are using the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A53 in the above-mentioned counties, then you can now easily update your devices to the latest version by going to the software update menu through system settings.
