Samsung Changes “Vivid” Color Profile Behavior on Galaxy S24 Series
Samsung has managed to gain much popularity for the Galaxy S24, so it has easily supassed its own preorder sales and set a new record. This undoubtedly shows how good work is done by Samsung’s marketing team to attract smartphone users towards its new product, but after the sales within the month, some users started reporting about some software issues, like the Vivid color option.
However, as usual, the company has been successful in providing the solution for a couple of weeks through a software update. For your information, last week Samsung delivered the long-awaited update for the Galaxy S24 users. The update comes in the form of a February 2024 security patch, but it also addresses the vivid color screen issue.
If you don’t know about the issue, it is related to the screen color setting. Basically, there is an option available under the main settings that allows the user to set the option to adjust the color of the screen according to their requirements. Specifically, there are two options available: one is natural and the other is vivid color display. So when users have compared their newly bought Galaxy S24 with its predecessor, a clear fade color appears, which makes them believe that the issue might be related to the display, but later the company addresses it and says,
“We have adjusted the colors and brightness of the Galaxy S24 series products to provide a more accurate and comfortable view during use. Changes to the display technology aim to provide a more natural viewing experience, which may result in users noticing differences in color depth compared to older devices. This display behavior is an intentional color adjustment and is not a product defect, so it can be used safely.”
To keep the promise, the company has delivered a new update where it has fixed the issue by adjusting the colors, and both the vivid and natural buttons are now working with the exact new change. To provide more options, the company has also provided some new features, like a new toggle to adjust how much brightness you want on your screen.
