Samsung a couple of days ago debuted its awaited Galaxy S24 series, which includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The brand has packed the device with brand new features, including Galaxy AI, a decent design, and top-notch specifications.
Among all three smartphones in the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the most premium smartphone. It has monster-like features such as a bright screen, a harder frame, smooth and fluent performance, improved cameras, and many more. But apart from all that, one of the remarkable things is its Gorilla Glass Armor protection.
Galaxy fans have awaited a lot for the Galaxy S24 Ultra device, but is the wait worth it?
Galaxy S24 Ultra users notice and make claims regarding issues they are facing. The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, and now some of the users are claiming that they have noticed that their phone’s display slightly washes out colors as compared to its predecessor device, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
However, this issue appears while using the ‘Vivid’ color profile in the display-related settings of the device. Whereas, with the ‘Natural’ color profile, color seems to appear similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. And this issue is being speculated on by a post on X, formerly Twitter and Reddit.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is not the only one, but Galaxy S24 as well as Galaxy S24+ users are also facing the same issue. It has come to be known that selecting the Vivid profile improves the saturation of colors on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. On the other hand, choosing the similar display on the Galaxy S24 Ultra hardly changes the color intensity that has appeared.
While some of the users are also stating that the Vivid color profile’s toggle may not be working and that choosing that option also may not be working as deliberate, And it is expected that if this is the scenario, then it can be easily fixed with a future software update. But at the moment, exactly, it is not clear yet that the users are facing the issue; it’s due to hardware or software.
Apart from this, the Galaxy S24 Ultra users are also complaining that the AoD mode has a lack of options, such as the ability to rotate it to landscape and having dedicated brightness controls. And the camera is also overexposing some scenes, even in daylight scenarios, and in low-light, the details are not appearing as they should.
