Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is the lite version of the main Galaxy S23 device. It is made to provide an experience of top-notch premium features of a flagship device in an affordable range. Being affiliated with the flagship software category, Samsung treats the device the same, and it is timely providing new updates for the device as well.

The Galaxy S23 FE is now getting the update in the US; more specifically, the update is spotted for the unlocked variant of the device. It is getting the update with the firmware version number S711U1UES2BXB6. Meanwhile, the locked variant of the Galaxy S23 FE has already grabbed the update on US Cellular and other carriers.

The February 2024 security patch brings some new features that will provide some security enhancements for the devices. In a nutshell, there are more than 60 fixes introduced for the device. From them, there are 61 fixes added by Google, while eight more are introduced by Samsung, which are exclusively available for Galaxy devices.

Being a security patch update, it is one of the standard updates that don’t bring any significant changes for the devices, but if you are a fan of One UI, then there is good news: Samang will introduce the One UI 6.1 update for last year’s flagships in the next month, so the Galaxy S23 FE will also be the top contender to get the update in the first phase.

Coming to the update, if you are using the unlocked variant of the Galaxy S23 FE in the US, then now you can update your Galaxy device to the latest version just by going to the software update menu from the system settings. If you don’t find the update for your device, then you have to wait for some time, as it takes some time to reach every eligible unit.
