Samsung’s crown, which was seen falling, is now coming back to its palace since its sales have boosted, and it’s back in the game.

The Korean giant initially this year debuted its Galaxy S24 flagship series, and its demands shook up the market. The brand has powered it with monster-like features like Galaxy AI, super-powerful processors, brand new specs, decent design, and what not to gather the attention of customers.

Back in 2023, Samsung had a market share of 19.4%, whereas Apple had 20.1%, and this is a close enough boundary to touch. Also, the latter was one of the five smartphone suppliers to record sales growth; however, the overall international market has hit an all-time low over the last decade.

Galaxy S23 Sales vs Galaxy S24 Sales

In the 12-month time period, 31.11 million units of the Galaxy S23 series model were sold, which includes three devices: the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23. As compared to Galaxy S22 sales, it exceeded 24%, which amounted to 24.99 million units in 12 months. And out of 31.11 million, a specific number of models were sold of a particular variant, which are as follows:

Galaxy S23 Series’ units sold in the 12-month period:

  • Galaxy S23 Ultra: 14.34 million
  • Galaxy S23+: 5.68 million
  • Galaxy S23: 11.08 million

Jumping on the sale of the latest Galaxy S24 series, the results are something else this time. Since it has not even been two months since its launch and it already reached 1.42 million units at the end of January, these matrices reflect the great interest of the international public in the innovations introduced in the latest Samsung models.

Galaxy S24 Series’ units sell within a month.

  • Galaxy S24 Ultra: 830,000
  • Galaxy S24+: 270,000
  • Galaxy S24: 320,000

Although Galaxy Foldables’ sales are also not too far as compared to the Galaxy smartphones, Galaxy Z5 series sales within six months, which were 6.83 million units,

  • Galaxy Z Fold 5: 2.49 million
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5: 4.33 million

Now that the brand is gearing up for the next generation of foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, let’s see whether these foldables will break their predecessors sales records.
