One UI 6.1 Update Arriving for Select Devices This Month

Samsung has a already debuted the latest UI version, One UI 6.1, along with the Galaxy S24 series. As a ritual, the giants initially roll out the latest software updates for the flagship device first, then start rolling them out gradually for the rest of the eligible Galaxy devices. Going back to 2023, Samsung debuted One UI 5.1 on the Galaxy S23 series, and within a few days, even before the Galaxy S23 series hit retail shelves, One UI 5.1 arrived for the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra run Android 14-based OneUI 6.1 out of the box, and now it’s time for the rest of the Galaxy devices to grab this latest OneUI 6.1 version. Although, as per the revelation of Samsung in a press release, it was known that it would start rolling out to select devices sometime in February. The Korean giants did not announce an exact launch date; however, previously, the giants also stated that by the end of the second quarter of 2024, One UI 6.1 would come to older Galaxy devices.

Regardless, the update is ready for a rollout this month, at least for the flagship smartphones and tablets the brand debuted back in 2023, which are as follows:
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Tab S9
However, it appears that after these Galaxy devices grab the One UI 6.1 update, the older, eligible devices will get it soon since they are not getting any of the AI features. These are the devices that could grab the latest One UI 6.1 update within this month.
