Google Pixel Adopts Satellite SOS: What About Samsung Galaxy Devices?

Google has announced the satellite connectivity feature when it is preparing for Android 14. In fact, it has also designed the logo of the Android version inspired by Satellite, but still, after almost more than six months, the company has not been able to bring fully functional satellite connectivity for Android devices. However, according to the information, the “Satellite SOS” feature has started appearing in Pixel devices.
As per the investigation done by 9to5Google, the feature is currently not working, but on the rooted pixel device, when you tap on the option, it shows a page that explains that with your pixel, you can message emergency services and share your location when you can’t connect to a mobile or Wi-Fi network.

In other words, when you can call or text emergency services, share your location by using Google Maps, and answer questions about your emergency, However, it is not confirmed if you will also connect directly to anyone without any emergency services. In this investigation, it is confirmed that the Pixel device will have functional satellite connectivity, but here the question arises: what is Samsung doing for this functionality?
What is Samsung doing with the satellite connectivity feature?
There were several rumors circulated last year that claimed that Samsung could introduce the satellite connectivity feature with the Galaxy S24 devices, but it has not happened yet. In some further leaks, it has also been seen that the Galaxy S24 was reportedly tested for emergency texts via satellite. The report also suggests that the company has also developed 5G NTN technology, which allows satellite communication in both directions. However, if we talk about the current situation, there is no proper information available about when the company will introduce the feature on the Galaxy device, but surely the Korean giant will give this feature earlier than other Android devices.
