One UI 6.1 rolls out for Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5/Flip 5, and Galaxy S23 FE in the USA
Since last month, Samsung has been constantly working on convenient access to the One UI 6.1 update for the first phase of devices, i.e., the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The company has already confirmed that it will provide an update for the mentioned devices in March, so now, finally, it has started rolling out the update for them.
Notably, the One UI 6.1 update is spotted rolling out for the locked variant of Galaxy devices. Users who own the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S911USQU2CXCG, S916USQU2CXCG, and S918USQU2CXCG, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 FE is getting the same update with the firmware version number S711USQU2CXCH.
Along with these, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers F946USQU2CXCF and F731USQU2CXCF, respectively. The company is using the same security patch, i.e., March 2024.
With the One UI 6.1, you will get several new features that are arriving. From them, the highest features are the ones powered by Galaxy AI, including Circle to Search, Call Assist, Chat Assist, Interpreter, and Note Assist.
Apart from these, the update will also bring a new ability for users to summarize articles or other content on the webpage. It has also brought a new ability in the Gallery, which provides you with eBay Photos. You can actually move people and objects around, resize them, or remove them entirely.
If you are using the above-mentioned devices that are bound to the Verizon network, you can update them to the latest update manually by going to the software update menu in the system settings.
