Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series get April 2024 security update, started with South Korea
Samsung is constantly distributing the April 2024 security patch for several eligible Galaxy devices. It has already served the update to many smartphones, and now, with the latest development, it has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy Flagship tablets, i.e., the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
Notably, the Galaxy Tab S9 series is spotted getting an April 2024 security patch update in South Korea. The Wi-Fi variant of the devices is getting a new update with the firmware version number X*10XXS2BXD2. On the other hand the 5G variant user can access the update on X*16NKOS2BXD2.
The April 2024 security patch update is one of the standard security patches that doesn’t bring any new features, but at the same time it will provide some security-related enhancements. Going into details, there are more than 40 security vulnerabilities that have been fixed. In these patches, Google has introduced 27 patches that will improve the functioning of the Android OS. Along with this, the company has also introduced 17 more patches, which will provide additional enhancements.
Moreover, the April 2024 security patch may also improve some internal functionalities of the devices, so if you are getting some issues while using any of the functionality, then you should update it to the latest version.
