Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 get April 2024 security patch in the USA

Samsung is constantly expanding the April 2024 security patch to the Galaxy devices. Earlier,  the company distributed the update to the fifth and fourth generation foldable devices, but now it has started expanding the update to the third generation devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Notably, the locked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are getting updated with the firmware version numbers F926USQS5HXD1 and F711USQS6HXD1. More specifically, the update is now available on devices that are bound to Spectrum Mobile and Xfinity networks. It will expand to other carriers in the coming days.

With the April 2024 security patch update, users will get a refreshed security enhancement for the devices. Going into the details, the latest security patch will provide more than 40 fixes. Google has added 27 fixes, which provide improvements for the Android OS security. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 more patches, which will provide some extra engagement for the security of the device.
