US Unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 2 Receives May 2024 Security Patch
Samsung has already introduced the May 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphones, but the update was limited to the unlocked variants. Now, moving forward, the company has started to roll out the update for the unlocked units of the devices.
Notably, the unlocked units of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 are getting a new update with the firmware version number F916U1UES6KXE3. With the latest update, you will not get any new features for the devices, but it will improve the overall security of the devices.
According to the official documentation, the May 2024 security patch will provide more than 50 patches. Google has introduced 30 patches that aim to enhance the security of the device. Along with this, Samsung has also provided 25 more patches that exclusively address the security-related issues of the Galaxy devices.
Along with this, the update may also address some improvements for the overall performance and stability of the devices. So if you are having some issues while using any particular function, then you should go for the latest security patch.
