Verizon locked Galaxy A23 gets May 2024 security update in the US

Samsung has a large presence in the US, and the company is always taking care to send new software updates rapidly to all eligible devices; however, due to carrier restrictions, the company has to depend on carriers to send the updates to all the devices. For now, the Galaxy A23 5G is getting a new update.

Samsung rolls out May 2024 Update for the Galaxy A23 on Verizon 

The locked variant of the Galaxy A23 5G will receive a May 2024 security patch from Verizon. According to the information, the update is coming with the firmware version A236VSQS4CXE3. The latest update won’t bring any significant changes to the device, but some new features may require you to implement new security enhancements.

According to the official documentation, the latest update of the Galaxy A23 brings more than 50 fixes, whereas Googlehas added 31 patches that dedicatedly bring new enhancements for the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also added 25 more patches that will provide some new enhancements for strengthening the devices.

Moreover, if you are having some issues while using the device after installing the significant One UI 6.1 update, then you should install the latest update by the May 2024 security patch update. To install the latest, go to the system update from the main settings.
