Samsung updates Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 to June 2024 security patch in its Home country
Samsung has already introduced the June 2024 security patch to almost all the devices, including the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22. Now, with the latest development, the company has started expanding the update to Korean units.
According to the information, the Korean units of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers S901NKSS4EXF1, S906NKSS4EXF1, and S908NKSS4EXF1, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers G991NKSS5GXF1, G996NKSS5GXF1, and G998NKSS5GXF1, respectively.
The June 2024 security patch doesn’t bring any new features or other developments, but it will provide some improvements to the working security of the devices. In simple words, with the latest security patch, the device will get more protected with the fixes to the loopholes found in the recent research done through Google. To satisfy consumers, Samsung has also brought new security patch updates for the devices, which will improve the overall functioning of the devices.
