Samsung confirmed Galaxy AI features are free till 2025
The Korean brand ‘Samsung’ initially introduced a bunch of AI-powered tools with the title ‘Galaxy AI’ earlier this year on the Galaxy S24 series. The brand has confirmed that the AI feature will only be free until the end of 2025.
Currently, Samsung is the only contender standing in the AI race for smartphones. Galaxy AI features are designed to make consumers’ daily lives more effortless. Samsung elaborated on all the Galaxy AI features on its official page right after the launch, where in the description section it mentioned a dedicated point that Galaxy AI features will only be available until 2025.
Initially, the brand introduced the Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S24 series and later expanded it to more compatible devices. All of these Galaxy AI features will only be available for free until 2025. While it’s not commenting on what the plan is from 2026 onwards.
The Korean giant will be opening temporary stores this summer in multiple cities to introduce their Galaxy AI features. This comes alongside a recent announcement that clarifies that Galaxy AI will be free to use on compatible devices until the end of 2025.
It stated that “Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices.” The Korean giant has confirmed its Galaxy AI features will be free until the end of 2025, and now the report suggests that plenty of users assume this will be called Galaxy AI+—a quite obvious way to indicate a new premium tier at that point.
It will be interesting to see exactly what will happen after 2025 and how much the brand will ask to pay for using the Galaxy AI features.
