Samsung Electronics lights on the future of 3D gaming as it introduces multiple new gaming monitors at Gamescom 2024.
Samsung at the world’s largest gaming exhibition, Gamescom 2024, introduced various new models that showcase immersive gaming experiences through leading technology and interesting gaming partnerships. The newly introduced models are as follows:
- Odyssey 3D
- 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8
- 27-inch Odyssey G6
Noticeably, the Odyssey 3D offers a glasses-free 3D gaming experience. Samsung showcased its latest gaming devices in its largest exhibition showcase at the event.
The Odyssey 3D monitor was in the limelight of the event as it efficiently impressed visitors with the realistic 3D experience and picture quality enabled by eye tracking and view mapping technologies. Meanwhile, the collaboration with KRAFTON permitted visitors to try out the unreleased game ‘inZOI’ in 3D.
The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 features a 4K UHD 16:9 screen with a refresh rate of 240Hz and 0.03 ms response speed. Blizzard Entertainment’s ‘World of Warcraft: The War Within’ was also previewed ahead of its launch via the Odyssey OLED G9. It features a 32:9 ultra-wide screen ratio with dual QHD resolutions, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms response time.
