Samsung brought up its most-awaited models within the Galaxy Z series, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, last month. The devices are significantly infused with several amazing features and functionalities in order to elevate the experience of the users. Meanwhile, the models received their first software update as an August 2024 security update in South Korea. 

Now, expanding the reach, Samsung started providing the update to the carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 in the US. 

The update for the carrier-locked (Comcast and Spectrum mobile) Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 carries the F956USQU1AXH7 and F741USQU1AXH7 version numbers, while the carrier-unlocked models come with the F956U1UEU1AXH7 and F741U1UEU1AXH7 versions. 

This software update brings some significant improvements to the device’s security that eventually help users to have a more safe and secure environment while also making the device capable enough to deal with certain external threats. 

In addition, the update further adds several necessary enhancements to the device’s overall functionalities, along with stabilizations and performance optimizations to offer a more stable and optimized performance to the users.
